Vellus Clarifying Shampoo Concentrate removes excess buildup of conditioners, other brand products, medications, minerals and chlorine. Vellus Clarifying Shampoo will not remove natural emollients needed to maintain the health of the hair. Buildup symptoms: Oversoft hair, Unusual tangling and Sudden dull hair. You need the residue for performance, however after awhile it will turn into buildup with any line. Dilute 10 parts water to 1 part concentrate. Use the Clarifying Shampoo mixture every third bath to avoid buildup. Follow with the Show Shampoo. Rinse and Condition as usual. Cotton coats: Use the Clarifying Shampoo mixture every bath. Follow with the Show Shampoo. Rinse and Condition as usual. Vellus Clarifying Shampoo is also a good degreaser for cats. Oil and lanolin free.
